Get Your Minnesota Driver’s License

Do you want to learn to drive? We currently help high school students* and adults acquire
their driver’s license through our Coaching and Assister programs. Receiving your driver’s license can be a significant step in establishing greater independence and stability for you
and your family. Here’s how we can help:

Application Documents

We can assist you in completing your pre-application and ensure you have all the necessary documents.

Permit Classes

We’ve enrolled more than 400 Afghan arrivals in free, online, drivers permit classes
offered in Dari, Pashto, and English to prepare prospective drivers for their class D
knowledge exam.

Sign Up for Remote Driver’s Permit Classes

Classes take place via Zoom, Monday – Friday from 9 AM to 11 AM.
Contact Dr. Anwar Jamili to sign up.

Interpreters

Once you’re ready to take your knowledge exam, we can connect you with an
interpreter at the exam station.

Scheduling and Transportation

We can help you schedule your exams and arrange transportation to the exam
station if you need it.

*High school students must have their blue card (meaning they have completed 30 hours of classroom drivers instruction) scheduled behind the wheel training, and parental consent to be able to apply for a driver’s permit.
